Der Anspruch der Arbeitnehmer auf Insolvenzgeld wird durch eine von den Arbeitgebern zu zahlende monatliche Umlage finanziert. Per Rechtsverordnung hat das Bundesministerium für Arbeit und Soziales nun festgesetzt, dass die Insolvenzgeldumlage ab dem 1.1.2018 von bisher 0,09 % auf dann 0,06 % sinkt. Der Bundesrat (BR-Drs. 583/17) muss der Verordnung noch zustimmen.
