Der Beitrag zur gesetzlichen Rentenversicherung ist zum 1.1.2018 von 18,7 % auf 18,6 % (Arbeitnehmer und Arbeitgeber jeweils 9,3 %) gesunken. In der knappschaftlichen Rentenversicherung erfolgte ebenfalls eine Reduzierung: von 24,8 % auf 24,7 % (Arbeitnehmer: 9,3 %, Arbeitgeber: 15,4 %).
Der Beitragssatz zur Rente muss nach den gesetzlichen Vorgaben gesenkt werden – und zwar dann, wenn die Nachhaltigkeitsrücklage zum Ende des Folgejahres das 1,5-fache der Monatsausgaben der Rentenkasse voraussichtlich übersteigt.
